Get ready to taste some delicious coffee, cakes, and sandwiches while supporting an incredible cause! Barista & Beyond, a brand-new independent café that creates employment opportunities for young people with disabilities, has officially opened its doors in Reading on Wednesday, March 22nd.

This heart-warming initiative was launched by the ‘Ways Into Work’ charity, which helps individuals with disabilities or disadvantages to acquire and maintain employment, and also assists employers with recruitment and diversity needs.

Located at 5 Alfred Street, Reading, this café is not just another coffee spot – it’s a place where you can enjoy a great cup of coffee and support a good cause simultaneously. The grand opening was attended by esteemed guests, including the Mayor of Reading, Cllr Rachel Eden, Managing Director of Ways Into Work, Jonathan Holley, and Education and Skills Development Principal of New Directions College in Reading, Andrea Wood.

Join us in celebrating this new venture and contributing to a brighter future for young people with disabilities!”
